Duties:
To hear and review taxpayer's written complaints regarding assessments or status of exemptions on their parcels. To make a determination from the information submitted by the taxpayer and the assessor and inform the taxpayer in writing of such determination. The Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of May each year. A book of explantion of the process and the necessary forms can be obtained from the assessor's office or the County Finance Department.
